⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Le Fer à Cheval, Verbier Le Fer à Cheval is a fantastic spot in Verbier for comforting, well-executed Italian food in a warm and lively setting. The lasagne is an absolute standout — rich, hearty, and beautifully layered with deep flavours, easily one of the best I’ve had in the Alps. The pizza is equally impressive, with a perfectly crisp yet chewy crust, quality ingredients, and generous toppings that make it incredibly satisfying. Add to that the cosy atmosphere and friendly, efficient service, and it’s easy to see why this place is so popular. A must-visit in Verbier if you’re craving excellent Italian comfort food. Highly recommended. Excellent service too!!

"Le Fer á Cheval" is a traditional European cafe located in the heart of Verbier Switzerland serving from 11:00 to 22:00, with a traditional dinner menu starting at 18:30. Serving many pallets, Le Fer á Cheval offeres a wide variety of Pizzas derived from many worldwide cuisines as well; with a variety of wine, beer, and other spirits alongside several nonalcoholic bottled beverages, and soft drinks. To start I ordered the "Tartine de chèvre chaufa miel, confit de figure, salade". This consisted of a lightly toasted large slice of sourdough bread, topped with dollops of warm, mild goat cheese, dried apricots, a fig slice, a halved date, and picked raddish. All this, drizzled in honey. Accompanied with a salad consisting of semi-bitter greens, and the toast's soft consistency, this dish is best eaten with a fork and knife. For my entreé I ordered a pizza topped with Ham, Mushroom, and shredded basil. Served uncut as you are  provided with a fork and steak knife, it is somewhat difficult to cut through the crust, and copious amounts of cheese, which has a fair amount of grease. Overall, it has a nice casual ambiance and the service is relatively quick.

Le Fer à Cheval (Verbier) Le Fer à Cheval in Verbier is a charming and welcoming restaurant offering a mix of Italian cuisine and classic Swiss dishes. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the service is truly lovely —friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, which makes the whole experience even better. The menu includes pizzas, pastas, and several meat options, giving you plenty to choose from whether you’re in the mood for Italian comfort food or something more local. We ordered the carbonara and the cordon bleu, and both were excellent. The carbonara was especially memorable, served with a raw egg yolk on top, which added richness and authenticity to the dish. The cordon bleu was very tasty, well cooked and flavorful, though a bit small for the price —if you’re really hungry, you might even consider ordering two. For dessert, we had the éclairs, which were huge and absolutely delicious, the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Conclusion: Le Fer à Cheval is a great spot in Verbier for quality Italian and Swiss food in a cozy setting with fantastic service. The only downside is the pricing relative to portion size on some dishes. ⭐ Overall rating: 4/5 Best: the carbonara and the warm service. Note: portions (like the cordon bleu) could be more generous for the price.

Went for a drink and an evening meal. Lovely atmosphere in this place. Music is a little loud if you are sitting underneath the speaker. We did not make a reservation many tables were booked. But they went out of their way to accomodate us.
